Rembrandt & a windmill

Rembrandt & a windmill, originally uploaded by Loro Kidul.

I took a 20 minute ride down the West bank of the Amstel on Thursday. The ferryman told me that Japanese tourists come and take lots of pictures of this statue....for some reason.

Sheep

Sheep, originally uploaded by Loro Kidul.

I know that I'm a tourist when I get excited about things like this. Like the first time I saw an Egret. Then I realized they're everywhere, all the time. I'm sure it's the same with sheep. But it's so damn cute! And quaintness like this is just a 20 minute bike ride along the Amstel River!
